MAN WITH A MISSION Meets Demon Slayer in the Halloween-Themed Concert We’ve Been Waiting For

Demon Slayer Season 2

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is managing to live its best life in 2020. With Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train earning major box office dollars in Japan, we didn’t think the series could slay any harder this week! MAN WITH A MISSION has proven us wrong.

The Japanese rock band is known for performing many an anime theme (like Golden Kamuy, Log Horizon and Vinland Saga) while donning wolf masks, but this Halloween they’ve decided to go one step further.

The group shared pictures of their Halloween themed concert on Twitter, the front of the stage decorated with pumpkins and candles as a wolf wearing a fedora greeted the audience.

Wait, can we back up for a second? Because that’s not just any fedora, that’s the fedora of Muzan Kibutsuji! Did we need to see a stylishly dressed demon wolf? Yes. Yes we did.

The group has clearly embraced the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fandom (not a bad idea for Halloween, to be honest). Each member took the stage as a different character from the hit series.

Not that we expect any of our heroes to have a jam session with Muzan anytime soon, but Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Nezuko costumes were all present and accounted for. Staying true to their band’s aesthetic, each character had their very own wolf mask to match each outfit.

But that’s not all. Each member had wigs to match the characters and, in Inosuke’s case, it looks like the boar face went over the wolf mask, making it look like a wolf cosplaying everyone’s favorite “charge first ask questions later” slayer.

Somewhere out there a cosplayer is getting ideas.
