Another bonus chapter for The Promised Neverland manga is on its way, this time focused on the Mom everyone loves to hate (or hates to love?), Isabella!
The chapter’s contents were revealed in the latest Weekly Shonen Jump, teasing that the 32-page release will reveal the “truth” about the one of series’ first villains, Isabella.
The bonus chapter of Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu’s popular series will drop on December 14, as part of Weekly Shonen Jump‘s second 2021 issue.

But Isabella isn’t the first The Promised Neverland supporting character to take center stage. Just recently, a 36-page chapter focused on Sister Krone was released, with the one-shot focusing on the Grace Field House Mother’s past.
The Promised Neverland manga debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in August 2016 and ran through this past June. The anime adaptation, from Aniplex and CloverWorks, premiered in January 2019, and a second season begins its broadcast in Japan on January 7, 2021.
The series follows the children of Grace Field House, an orphanage that hides a sinister secret. Three children in particular, Emma, Ray and Norman, concoct a plan for escape, as the children realize they’re not waiting to be adopted, but to be eaten by demons.
