*cue “Superman” by Goldfinger* We’re incredibly excited to announce that skateboarding anime SK8 the Infinity, from Bones (My Hero Academia, Mob Psycho 100) and Aniplex of America, will stream exclusively on Funimation as part of the January 2021 anime season lineup!

This original skateboarding anime follows high schooler Reki, who is addicted to S, the no-holds-barred skateboarding downhill jam set in an abandoned mine. Yes…all of that is true.

NEW ANIME: This January Season Enter a World Unlike Any Other on Funimation 🌐🖥️

Reki brings along transfer student Langa, who has no skateboarding experience whatsoever. And in this world of skating, it’s all about the “beef,” the showdowns that take place mid-race! Good luck, you two.

SK8 the Infinity begins its simulcast on January 8. The series will stream on Funimation in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Ireland; on AnimeLab in Australia and New Zealand; and on Wakanim in France, Germany and Scandinavia.

SK8 the Infinity

Directed by Hiroko Utsumi (BANANA FISH), SK8 the Infinity stars Japanese voice actors Tasuku Hatanaka (Mirai, Attack on Titan) as Reki and Chiaki Kobayashi (Great Pretender, Vinland Saga) as Langa.
