The highly anticipated EDENS ZERO anime series now has a Japanese premiere date, and a new trailer showing off what’s to come!
The official Twitter account for the series has announced that EDENS ZERO will officially premiere on April 10 on Nippon TV, and showed off a preview video for the series, which you can view below.
The PV showcases main characters Shiki Granbell, Rebecca Bluegarden and what seems to be a familiar face, Happy. EDENS ZERO is created by Hiro Mashima, the creator of FAIRY TAIL, and while this might not be the exact same Happy, it’s nice to see the adorable companion make an appearance.
The trailer also showcases the crew behind the series, including directors Shinji Ishihira (FAIRY TAIL, Log Horizon) and Yushi Suzuki (Strike Witches), with Yoshihisa Hirano (Ouran High School Host Club, Death Note) working on music. The animation will be produced by J.C.STAFF (Toradora!).
Set in a fictional universe where humans, aliens and robots co-exist, EDENS ZERO has main characters Shiki and Rebecca exploring the vastness of space in search of Mother, the legendary goddess of the cosmos.
