Spring is quickly approaching, which means a whole new season of anime is just around the corner, including the romantic comedy series Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro!

The long-awaited adaptation has a new trailer, giving us our first official look at the series in motion. The official website for the upcoming anime dropped the trailer over the long weekend, with the series set to air in Spring 2021.

Author 774’s manga Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro originally began in 2017 and tells the story of Hayase Nagatoro, a high school girl who finds nothing more entertaining than toying with her senior schoolmate, a timid boy who’s an aspiring artist.

But despite all of Nagatoro’s antics, her senpai realizes that he doesn’t actually dislike Nagatoro, and an uneasy friendship is born!

Telecom Animation Film (Tower of God, All Out!!) is at the helm for Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro, along with director Hirokazu Hanai. Taku Kishimoto is script supervisor, with Misaki Suzuki on character design. Music will be composed by Gin, with the opening theme song performed by Sumire Uesaka.
