Look, we miss Hunter x Hunter too. So when Japanese voice actor Megumi Han posted on Instagram about recording for “that project,” our interest was piqued!
The post also mentions that Han is very happy to return to her “starting point” and was recording alongside her “partner.”

The day before, voice actor Mariya Ise posted on Twitter about recording for a project, and was happy to meet up with her “partner.” This accompanied a pixelated picture as part of the post, adding even more mystery!
Of course, you’ll remember that Megumi Han is the voice of Gon Freecs in Hunter x Hunter (2011), which was also one of her first major roles in anime. Alongside her was Mariya Ise, who voiced Killua Zoldyck, one of Gon’s closest companions.
Could this all mean nothing? Absolutely! But in a series known for its breaks, it’s always exciting to think about what comes next for Yoshihiro Togashi’s legendary series. For now, you can watch Hunter x Hunter on Funimation.
