Thanks to our partners at Aniplex and Sony Music, we’re excited to exclusively reveal a track from the upcoming The Promised Neverland Season 1 + 2 official soundtrack release, titled “The Evil-Blooded Girl (Main Theme)” by Takahiro Obata.

Check it out:

Of course, this track refers to the taboo of one of Emma and Ray’s first allies in the real world, Mujika. This mysterious, young demon girl and her companion Sonju don’t eat humans, for religious reasons.

And their unique way of life means their feel-low demons consider them part of the “evil-blooded,” a bloodline that is prophesied to result in the ultimate demise of the demon species.

So it only makes sense that the booming, haunting tones of this track come through in a strong way. It’s a powerful theme that is just part of the incredible score on this release.

The full album releases on February 24, and you can pre-order it right here. And if you want to stay caught up on The Promised Neverland, you can watch the entire series so far, right here on Funimation.
