We’ve already seen three concept trailers for the upcoming anime Vivy –Fluorite Eye’s Song-. Today has brought us the fourth, and WOW are we excited to see it!
The official Twitter for the series launched this latest concept trailer on Friday, bringing us a little more insight into what this original anime will entail. The title for this concept trailer is “When <A.I.> Choose to Stop.”
Outside of the concept trailers which have been released, not a whole lot of detail is known about the anime, set to premiere in April in Japan. However, the anime’s tagline of “The story how I, Vivy, will destroy my A.I. self…” is certainly intriguing. As for more about the plot? Well, we’ll just have to wait and see, folks.
Unlike anime adapted from manga or light novels, Vivy –Fluorite Eye’s Song- isn’t based on any existing source material. Instead, this story has been created and scripted by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara.

The other creator of Vivy –Fluorite Eye’s Song- is Eiji Umehara, who is the scriptwriter for the anime adaptation of Re:ZERO –Starting Life in Another World- as well as the scenario supervisor for CHAOS;CHILD.
We’re extremely excited about this anime coming to us from Wit Studio (Attack on Titan, Vinland Saga). Are you? Share this post and let us know! And stay tuned to Funimation for the latest news on all things anime, this season and beyond.
