The My Hero Academia anime is turning five, and Japan has a ton of fun planned for the year, starting this March!
Announced via the official website, the My Hero Academia festivities will include livestream events, exclusive art from character designer Hitomi Odashima (My Hero Academia Season 5) and the promise of an epic poll that will finally settle what the series’ best pull-no-punches battle is!

The above art is our first official look at what’s planned for the year, featuring the core characters of the series, each with five fingers raised. The art serves as a teaser for an incoming merchandise line in Japan for the anniversary.
And after the fan poll “TV anime best bout” concludes, fans will be able to check out the online stage at AnimeJapan. A special stage will follow up on April 3, featuring a voice cast showcase and marking the official five-year anniversary of the anime series.
Each thrilling My Hero Academia celebration, of course, builds up to the real treat: My Hero Academia Season 5 debuting in Japan on March 27.
