We’re excited to officially announce that Battle Athletes Victory ReSTART! is coming exclusively to Funimation as part of the Spring 2021 anime season lineup. Are you up to the task?
Synopsis: Aspiring athletes from around the galaxy gather to compete in a tournament where the winner will be crowned the Cosmic Beauty. What begins as rivalry grows into friendship among the athletes, including a lunar refugee and her kangaroo companion, the daughter of an arms-dealing CEO, a mysterious loner, and Earth’s representative…a humble potato farmer named Kanata Akehoshi.
From studio Seven (Hensuki: Are you willing to fall in love with a pervert, as long as she’s a cutie?) and director Tokihiro Sasaki (Try Knights, King’s Game), Battle Athletes Victory ReSTART! stars voice actors Sumire Morohoshi (BNA, The Promised Neverland) as Kanata Akehoshi; Miyu Tomita (Dorohedoro, Kaguya-sama: Love is War?) as Shelley Wong; and Yui Ishikawa (AZUR LANE, Attack on Titan) as Eva Gallenstein.
