It’s been 8 years years since The Devil is a Part-Timer! aired its first season, and in a shocking announcement, it was revealed that Season 2 is on its way to celebrate the light novel’s 10th anniversary!
Not only that, but the main cast is returning. And, as if that wasn’t enough, a trailer for the upcoming season was shown!
One of the most relatable anime out there, the adaptation of Satoshi Wagahara’s The Devil is a Part-Timer! light novel series perfectly captures what it’s like to have a part-time job in the service industry—and also what it’s like to feel like you’re the Devil himself trapped in a mundane world.
The first season aired in 2013, with Naoto Hosoda directing the adaptation for studio White Fox. At this time, the staff for the second season has not been revealed, but we do know that the principal cast is returning to voice their characters.
The trailer for the new season teases a change in art-style, while still capturing the humor of the original season, and the essence of its weird yet likable cast of characters.
