Get ready Hunters, it’s time to update your summer plans—for adventure! Capcom has revealed that the highly anticipated RPG Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will officially arrive on Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) on July 9!
The news dropped during a special digital event for the upcoming monster-battler game, a sequel to Monster Hunter Stories, released on iOS and Nintendo 3DS. The game was originally announced during a Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase in September 2020, along with Monster Hunter Rise, which hits Nintendo Switch later this month.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will be available in both regular and deluxe editions, with the latter coming with special cosmetics for your player character, as well as some CUTE Nergigante and Pukei-Pikei outfits for Navirou. If you pre-order the game, you’ll also snag a Kamura Maid outfit for Ena, an ally you’ll meet in the game.

And because you needed even less space on your shelf, Capcom also revealed three new amiibo figures for the game, including protagonist Ena, the adorable Razewing Ratha and Tsukino. OK, we’re ready to hunt these down now.
