It’s been 10 years since a deal was made with Kyubey and we were introduced to Madoka and her magical friends in Puella Magi Madoka Magica. And now, a special anniversary event will be held to celebrate!
The event will be held in Chofu City Green Hall in Tokyo on April 25, and a special illustration from series animation director Junichiro Taniguchi was revealed. The art features our favorite witches in elegant floral gowns surrounding a large “X” (or 10) for the occasion.
The event will also feature cast from the series, including Aoi Yuki (Madoka), Chiwa Saito (Homura) and Emiri Kato (Kyubey).
If you want to watch along, fret not if you can’t make it to Japan! The event will be live-streamed on Stagecrowd. If you are in the area, though, advanced tickets will be available via lottery starting this Saturday. Just…don’t sell your soul for tickets.
