Skate-Leading Stars English Dub Announced, Cast & Crew Revealed

Are you ready to compete? We’re excited to announce that sports drama anime Skate-Leading Stars is officially getting an English dub on Funimation!

Episode 1 of the Skate-Leading Stars English dub arrives on March 14, so whether you’re rewatching the series from the beginning or experiencing it for the first time, you’re in for a treat.

The English voice cast for the series includes Stephen Fu (Darwin’s Game, RobiHachi) as Kensei Maeshima; Jack Reeder (FAIRY TAIL, No Guns Life) as Hayato Sasugai; and Daman Mills (Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life, One Piece) as Reo Shinozaki.

Skate-Leading Stars began its simulcast earlier this season, exclusively on Funimation. It has been streaming two weeks ahead of Japanese broadcast.

Official synopsis: Kensei Maeshima left the world of figure skating after his rival said, “You’ll never beat me.” Years later, he’s using his athleticism to help several high school teams, never focusing on one. But when his adversary publicly announces a shift to a team sport, a kid familiar with Kensei’s past finds and offers him an invitation to lace up his skates and join the world of skate-leading.
