The latest from Death Note creators’ Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba, Platinum End, has added two key cast members to its upcoming anime adaptation!

The series official website revealed the info, along with Koji Odate’s character designs for the two characters. First up is Saki Hanakago, who will be voiced by M.A.O (Cells at Work!, Fire Force).

Saki is one of the God Candidates, humans gifted the temporary power to fly and shoot special arrows. She’ll be guarded by the angel Revel, voiced by Natsuki Hanae (Attack on Titan, Gleipnir)

Previously announced cast members include Miyu Irino (Black Clover, Mob Psycho 100) as protagonist Mirai Kakehashi. His angel assistant, Nasse, will be voiced by Yui Ogura (GOBLIN SLAYER, Maid Sama!).

Based on the manga series of the same name, Platinum End will be directed by Hideya Takahashi at studio Signal.MD, with Shinichi Inotsume on scripts.

The series follows Mirai after years of trauma and tragic moments, as he’s gifted the powers of an angel and a chance to become God. Mirai and his angel, Nasse, will face the daunting task of taking on the other 12 God Candidates to see who comes out on top. And you thought your grade school years were difficult.

Platinum End will begin its broadcast in Japan this fall.
