Ready for more Kakushigoto? The upcoming anime compilation film has just revealed more info about its release!
The official website for Kakushigoto: Himegoto wa Nan Deu ka has revealed that the film will have a theatrical release in Japan, with opening day set for July 9. Also revealed was a teaser trailer and visual for the film, featuring an 18-year-old Hime.
The Kakushigoto movie will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the career of Kouji Kumeta, the series’ creator who has worked on Sayonara; Zetsubou-Sensei; Studio Pulp; Katteni Kaizo; and Joshiraku. The film is set to have a new “finale” not seen in the original anime series.

Kakushigoto aired during the Spring 2020 anime season, and was directed by Yuta Murano (Brave Beats, Dream Festival!) at studio AJIADO. It quickly received praise from fans for its comedy and heartwarming subject matter.
