Attack on Titan Manga Finale Sells Out Kodansha Magazine

It’s the end of an era, with Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan publishing its final chapter this past week in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from Kodansha. But the manga isn’t just ending after more than a decade of publication, it’s selling out in stores across Japan.

That’s right, stores around Japan are selling out of the latest issue of Kodansha’s magazine, which includes the final chapter of Attack on Titan. A second print run has been scheduled already and is set to hit stores and shelves by April 30.

Attack on Titan saw its first chapter published in 2009 in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, running for just over 11 years. The last compiled volume of the series, Attack on Titan Volume 34, is set to be released on June 9 in Japan.

The series is available in English both digitally and in print from Kodansha Comics, with Volume 32 being released this past December. In the anime world, the Attack on Titan Final Season Part 1 finale aired this past winter season, with Episode 76 planned for release in Winter 2022.
