Mobile game developer KLab has announced that Bleach: Brave Souls will release on PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store later this year!
The game was already launched for iOS and Android back in 2015, with the Steam version released in August 2020. This new PlayStation version is the first time that the game will be available on home consoles.
Bleach: Brave Souls is a 3D-action, free-to-play title with in-game purchases. The game’s story follows from the moment when Rukia and series protagonist Ichigo meet for the first time. The quests in the game will recreate iconic moments from the original anime.

Players will be able to level up their characters and raise their base stats. Characters can also ascend to increase their max level cap, and the Soul Tree provides training to improve specific stats even further as well as link characters together for more support.
There are a variety of online functions too. Players can face off against each other in weekly player-vs.-player leagues or team up with other players to participate in player-vs.-everyone co-op quests and raids.

Additionally, the Brave Souls Discord has officially opened starting today. Through this channel, Brave Souls players across the world can communicate with each other in order to find friends to play with and see messages from the development team, or just simply chat.
Bleach: Brave Souls also supports a total of seven languages: Japanese, English, French, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean and Thai.
Funimation, with its partners at VIZ Media, recently announced that Bleach would be available for streaming in the United States and Canada. You can watch it right here!
