Capcom revealed that this compilation package, which includes The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures and The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve, will release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC (via Steam) on July 27.

Players will take on the role of Ryunosuke Naruhodo, the ancestor of Phoenix Wright from the Meiji era in Japan. The events take place about a century prior to Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, so expect a brand-new cast of colorful characters to interact with, including Ryunosuke’s mentor, Kazuma Asogi, and his legal aide in training, Susato Mikotoba.

Also joining the cast are expert detective Herlock Sholmes and child prodigy Iris Wilson, along with several rivals, like Taketsuchi Auchi, who seems to be a distant relative of the series’ Payne family. Then there’s Barok van Zieks, who strikes fear in the courtroom with his cold eyes and stern demeanor.

And this package release sports plenty of new features, including a Story Mode, where players can just sit back and enjoy the game’s narrative without having to look for evidence or provide it in court. Think of this mode more like a television series or visual novel. Of course, it’s optional.

There’s also an art gallery featuring illustrations and commentary from the game’s art director, as well as dual Japanese and English audio. But that’s not all! The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles also includes two “Special Trial” videos and 13 clips from “Ryunosuke Naruhodo’s Seven Days of Sin.”

The Great Ace Attorney first debuted in Japan in 2015 on the Nintendo 3DS, with ports to iOS and Android. Fans have been asking for a release in the West for years, and it’s finally happening!
