UPDATE: Restaurant to Another World Season 2 has been officially confirmed by KADOKAWA, with an updated website for the series now launched.
If you’re a fan of fantasy isekai anime that involves cooking delicious food, then this news is for you. That’s right, it looks like Restaurant to Another World is returning with a Season 2!
As reported by Anime News Network, the official website for the magazine Monthly Shonen Ace from KADOKAWA is hosting an image of the cover for its June issue, featuring the return of Restaurant to Another World. The cover also confirms that a second season is on its way.
Based on a light novel, Restaurant to Another World debuted during the Summer 2017 anime season. A manga adaptation of the series has also been published.
The June issue of Monthly Shonen Ace is also set to publish the very first chapter of a brand-new manga adaption of the series from Yamizawa-Morozawa, titled Restaurant to Another World: Western Cuisine Nekoya.
There’s no word yet on broadcast info or release window, but for fans of the series, it’s exciting to have confirmation that more is on the way.
