The official Twitter account for the series confirmed the news that Towa, Setsuna and Moroha’s feudal-era adventures will officially continue during the Fall 2021 anime season. The post also asked fans to “stay tuned” for more updates on the series.
A sequel season for the series was officially confirmed in March, with a new visual revealed! No word yet on where the series will simulcast outside of Japan.

The next story in the world of Inuyasha, Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon is set two decades after the events of the preceding series. It follows separated twin half-demons, Towa and Setsuna, who are reunited after a decade apart and set off on an adventure with Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome.
Why? Well, they’re trying to regain their missing past and stave off an impending apocalypse. Like it’s predecessor, the series blends fantasy, humor and demon action in a feudal-era setting.
