RE-MAIN Anime From MAPPA Serves Up New Visual, Summer Debut

Ready for your next sports anime obsession? The series’ official Twitter account has revealed new details on the upcoming water polo anime, RE-MAIN, including a new series visual and confirmation of its broadcast date!

RE-MAIN will officially premiere in Japan on July 3 as part of the Summer 2021 season of anime!

And just look at the new key visual, which gives us a glimpse at the crisp animation we can expect in the series. Plus, fun, friendship and fan service! This one is surely going to make a splash this summer (sorry).

Also revealed were additional cast members for the series, including Taku Yashiro (Fire Force) as Keita Kakihana; Yuma Uchida (Fruits Basket) as Riku Momosaki; and Shun Miyazato (Michiko & Hatchin) as Koki Toguchi.

RE-MAIN centers on Minato Kiyomizu, a former competitive water polo player whose life was changed by an incident during his third year of middle school. Now in high school, Minato finds the courage to jump back into the pool and embrace his destiny with new friends and teammates at his side.
