Every week, we’ll answer a handful of your letters on the Funimation Blog, so be on the lookout because your question might just get an answer! This week, it’s all about the series’ rivals, from Shinso or Bakugo to Class 1-B and beyond!
oh beans asks: “is it a mutual feeling that everyone loves our boi Shinso?”
oh beans, thank you for asking this very important question. I can say, without question, everyone loves our boi Shinso. I mean, what’s not to love about this brainwashing rival?
He’s showing his heroic moves in the battle between Class 1-A and Class 1-B and he’s shown he has the drive to become a Hero and learn from those who came before him.
What’s not to love???
Elias asks: “Does Bakugo get mad even in winning video games?”
Bakugo is one of our favorite rivals in the series, and that’s because this angsty guy just loves getting angry, but in a weirdly endearing way that makes us love the growth of his character.
And while we haven’t seen Bakugo win a video game yet, we bet he would get mad (with power) anyway. Like, if he was playing Overwatch, he might ask his opponents to stop playing Hanzo.
Or if he was playing It Takes Two, where there is no “winner,” he might just get mad that it’s over when it ends.
Tetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsu asks: “Tetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsutetsu”
Mary asks: “Who do you think would’ve won in the swimming race between Deku, Todoroki and Bakugo?”
Mary, this is a great question. Who would have won in the swimming race? Well, we kinda think it would be a tie between all three of them. Why? Well, let’s break it down.
Since they’re not starting in the water, Deku could maybe get the perfect head start by using his Quirk in his legs. For Todoroki, could he theoretically produce ice to speed himself along? Or fire?
And for Bakugo, he’d probably just blast across the pool, with the other two arriving at the same time.
