Ready for more iconic anime to make its way to Funimation? Then this news is for you. We’re excited to announce that the shounen series KenIchi: The Mightiest Disciple is returning to Funimation!
How soon? Starting May 15, you’ll be able to watch all 50 episodes of the series, right here on Funimation. This series joins the ever-expanding Funimation catalog, which just recently added titles like Magic User’s Club, Princess Nine and You’re Being Summoned, Azazel.

KenIchi: The Mightiest Disciple will be available with English subtitles and English dub in the United States and Canada. Based on the popular manga series by Shun Matsuena, the shounen comedy from TMS Entertainment first aired in Fall 2006.
