The train has left the station and shows no signs of stopping! Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train continues its momentum, officially surpassing $45 million at the North American box office!
The news comes just days after the film became the #2 anime movie of all time at the North American box office, behind only Pokémon: The First Movie in the top spot.

With major box office records broken in Japan and around the world, Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train continues its incredible run in the U.S. and Canada.

The Aniplex of America and Funimation-distributed film landed in North American theaters on April 23, and it was the #1 movie in the U.S. just a week later, beating Mortal Kombat. It’s been steadily breaking records since, including scoring the #1 foreign language film debut ever in the states.Â
These are just some of the accolades the film has amassed since its release, but the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba hype is far from over. Funko just announced a new line of figures from the series that are must-haves for fans.

On the gaming side of things, SEGA Asia just recently announced that the console game based on the series would be released in English as Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles. The game has a story mode that follows Tanjiro’s journey as well as a battle mode where you can play against your friends using a growing cast of characters from the show.
