Ready to celebrate in style? It’s official: LUPIN THE 3rd PART 6 is officially on its way in celebration of the series’ 50th anniversary.
TMS Entertainment confirmed the news on Tuesday that LUPIN THE 3rd PART 6 would be arriving on Japanese television this October. They also showed off a special visual and teaser trailer.
The teaser, posted to the official TMS Entertainment website and Twitter, sports a noir-style aesthetic designed by Hiroki Marufuji, who returns to the series as character designer on this latest entry.

Next up, the teaser trailer builds on the mystery of what Lupin’s intentions are this time around. A mask on the floor, a destroyed car, a bomb and plenty of shocked faces—has Lupin changed his ways or is he being framed? Guess we’ll find out later this year.
Based on the manga of the same name from the legendary Monkey Punch, LUPIN THE 3rd first debuted in 1971, with its first anime series following the adventures of the world’s greatest thief, Lupin III. The grandson of a famed master thief, Lupin went on to star in a number of television anime series, films and specials.
