First up will be Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, the pair of faithful remakes of 2006’s Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl. They’ll be releasing November 19 on Nintendo Switch, marking the 15th anniversary of the original Nintendo DS games.
While these remakes will re-introduce fans to the Sinnoh Region, there’s also Pokémon Legends: Arceus, an open-world adventure in Sinnoh set well before the events of Diamond and Pearl. This new entry in the Pokémon franchise will officially arrive on January 28, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch.
The game was first revealed in February, and offers a new take on the open-world formula. It will also include three starters Pokémon fans will remember: Rowlet, Oshawott and Cyndaquil.
