If you’ve been jamming out to the ending theme music of The World Ends with You The Animation this season, then we’ve got some news for you. The full version of the track, “Carpe Diem” by Japanese artist ASCA, just dropped on digital music platforms!

The track is part of the release of the “Carpe Diem” EP, released today (You can find it here). The full tracklist is as follows:

- “Carpe Diem -seize the day-” (The English Version of “Carpe Diem”)
- “Carpe Diem -Instrumental-“

The World Ends with You The Animation, which adapts and updates the events of the original Nintendo DS game, is streaming on Funimation as part of the Spring 2021 anime season.
A new entry in the game series titled NEO: The World Ends with You is releasing on July 27 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, with a PC release planned for later. This sequel is three years after the events of the currently airing anime series.

The game follows a new protagonist, Rindo, as he is caught in the deadly Reapers’ Game led by the Game Master, Shiba. Throughout his journey, he’ll be joined by allies such as his teammates, Fret and Nagi. Two characters from the previous game, Koki Kariya and Sho Minamimoto, also make their return.
