Isekai anime transports us to all kinds of imaginative worlds, and we’ve just got a peek into a brand new one thanks to the latest promo video for How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom!

Along with the show’s July 3 premiere date in Japan, the trailer reveals new additional cast members Mugihito (Dr. STONE), Kikuko Inoue (Cells at Work!), Tetsu Inada (My Hero Academia) and Kenji Nojima (Moriarty the Patriot).

We also hear a preview of the opening theme song “HELLO HORIZON,” performed by Inori Minase.

How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom follows Kazuya Souma as he’s transported to a fantasy world. But rather than become a warrior hero of legend for the Elfrieden Kingdom, he finds himself wanting to systematically, administratively and economically rebuild it…from the ground up!

The series will stream on Funimation as part of the Summer 2021 anime season lineup.

The upcoming series stars isekai veterans Yusuke Kobayashi and Inori Minase, known for their roles as Subaru and Rem in Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, as Kazuya Souma and Liscia Elfrieden.
