MAPPA’s RE-MAIN Confirms OP/ED Artists and Additional Cast

Studio MAPPA’s upcoming water polo anime RE-MAIN has made another splash with an additional cast announcement for a new rival school, as well as the reveal of the show’s opening and ending theme song artists!

Joining the high school water polo team are Natsuki Hanae (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Takeshi Toyama, a general member; Mahiro Takasugi (I Want to Eat Your Pancreas) as Akihisa Fukui, the team’s captain; and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Sword Art Online) as Norimichi Ishikawa, the team’s vice-captain.

Also joining the cast is Hikaru Midorikawa (SK8 the Infinity) as Akimitsu Bizen, coach of the Shogakukan high school team, whose voice cast was revealed in a previous announcement.

But you can’t have a pool party without music!

South Korean group ENHYPEN will be making their anime debut with the opening theme “Forget Me Not.” Star of idol anime THE IDOLM@STER SideM and TSUKIPRO THE ANIMATION Shugo Nakamura will be performing the ending theme, titled “Kowareta Sekai no Byoushin wa.”

The original TV anime, headed up by Tiger & Bunny creator Masafumi Nishida, is scheduled to premiere on July 4 in Japan.
