Netflix has just dropped some new details on its upcoming live-action Cowboy Bebop series, including the news that anime composer Yoko Kanno is returning with original music for the series.

Announced as part of its Geeked Week event, Netflix confirmed that the live-action anime adaptation would be premiering on its service this fall, along with the addition of music legend Yoko Kanno.
Netflix describes the series: “A ragtag crew of bounty hunters chases down the galaxy’s most dangerous criminals. They’ll save the world … for the right price.”
We also got a new glimpse at the cast for the series, including John Cho (Star Trek) as the smooth-talking Spike Spiegel; Daniella Pineda (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) as the cunning Faye Valentine; and Mustafa Shakir (Marvel’s Luke Cage) as bounty hunter and bonsai tree enthusiast Jet Black.
