Final Fantasy Origin, Babylon’s Fall and More Reveals from Square Enix Presents E3 2021

It’s that time of year again. E3 is in full swing, and you know what that means! More awesome games to look forward to! And Square Enix certainly had a ton of amazing announcements to share. Let’s take a look, shall we?

First up is Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster. This whopper of a remaster is going to feature the first six Final Fantasy games for Steam and mobile. No release date has been set yet, but we are hyped.

A brand new entry in the Final Fantasy series was also announced! Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is set to be an origin story for the entire series and will be released in 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

A demo will be coming out soon, but for now, PlayStation 5 users can play a trial version of the game through June 24.

PlatinumGames’ action RPG Babylon’s Fall, originally announced three years ago, has more updates! The game will be playable solo or with up to four players, and there will be a live-service aspect to the game as well.

Square Enix also revealed new details on projects from its Western developers, including Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, a Black Panther expansion for Marvel’s Avengers and the latest news on Life is Strange Remastered Collection and Life is Strange: True Colors.
