In this entry, the game’s protagonist fuses with a mysterious figure and suddenly gains the power to fight demons in an infested wasteland. Today’s gameplay reveal brought us a new look at the protagonist, as they are transformed from regular high school student to powerful figure with free-flowing blue hair and a sword!

The gameplay appears similar to past entries in the franchise, where players must exploit enemy weaknesses in order to perform more actions in a given combo. Demons can be negotiated with and recruited to join your party via conversation.

If successful, demons become powerful allies, and the trailer shows familiar ones that appeared in previous titles, such as Cait Sith, Jack-O’-Lantern and Apsaras. However, if a demon’s offer to join is rejected, they may feel compelled to join anyway. Demon fusion makes a return as well, and players may customize them how they see fit.
