Horimiya Manga One-Shot Epilogue Picks Up After Graduation

The Horimiya manga series might be coming to an end, but fans will get one more story, according to Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy.

As reported by Anime News Network, the latest issue of the Japanese magazine reveals that a special one-shot manga will be released on July 16, the same day the final volume of the series releases in Japan. The special epilogue picks up after the events of graduation for Hori and Miyamura.

The fan-favorite romantic comedy series debuted in the pages of Monthly G Fantasy in 2011, adapted from HERO’s Hori-san to Miyamura-kun series, and it wrapped its last chapter on March 18 of this year. From Daisuke Hagiwara, Horimiya follows popular girl Hori and bad boy Miyamura on their comedic journey through high school, friendship and love.

An anime adaptation from Aniplex and CloverWorks premiered in January of 2020 and is streaming subtitled and in English dub right here on Funimation.
