We could all use a little help when it comes to living life. We’re excited to announce that comedy anime Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan is officially joining the Funimation Summer 2021 anime season lineup!
This slice of life comedy series follows 31-year-old Uramichi Omota, who works for a kid’s television show as a physical exercises coach. While approachable and great with kids, some may be put off by his emotional instability, and he’s not always the cheerful guy he’s supposed to be.
For those going through a change in their life as they get older, there’s plenty to relate to in Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan!
From Studio Blanc and director Nobuyoshi Nagayama (Smile Down the Runway), Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan stars voice actors Hiroshi Kamiya (Natsume’s Book of Friends, Attack on Titan) as Uramichi Omota, Tomozaku Sugita (Gintama, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) as Tobikichi Usahara, Yuichi Nakamura (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) as Mitsuo Kumatani, Mamoru Miyano (Death Note, Free!) as Iketeru Daga, and Nana Mizuki (Naruto, ItaKiss) as Utano Tadano.
Based on the manga series of the same name from Gaku Kaze, Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan begins its simulcast on Funimation on July 5.
