When life gets you down, maybe true love is the perfect remedy! We’re excited to announce that historical romance Taisho Otome Fairy Tale will officially stream on Funimation later this year!
The news that the series would be coming to Funimation was confirmed during the Pony Canyon panel at Anime Expo Lite 2021, with an additional look at the series.

Taisho Otome Fairy Tale follows the youngest son of the prestigious Shima family, who have had nothing but success for generations. But when his mother dies in a tragic accident and he’s left injured and cast out from his family, he reaches an all-time low.
That is, until he meets Yuzuki Tachibana, a girl who claims to be his bride, sent by his estranged father. As they spend time together, they both learn how love can heal the heart.
From studio SynergySP (The 8th son? Are you kidding me?) and director Jun Hatori, Taisho Otome Fairy Tale stars voice actors Yusuke Kobayashi (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) as Tamahiko Shima and Saya Aizawa (Chio’s School Road) as Yuzuki Tachibana.

The series, based on the manga of the same name from Sana Kirioka, is set for release later this year.
