Twenty-five years?! ATLUS Japan has launched a teaser website commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Persona series, with celebrations set to kick off this September.
ATLUS announced it is planning merchandise, special events, collaborations and more for the anniversary. But that’s not all…
The biggest tease is that ATLUS will be revealing seven unique projects related to the celebration. On the teaser site, the first of the seven projects is confirmed to be revealed in September, with the rest “coming soon,” and the final announcement for Fall 2022.

Of course, this mean speculation abounds for what these could be, including potentially Codename: X by Perfect World Games, a mobile title inspired by Persona 5.
Additionally, two of the acrylic merchandise sets could potentially point to clues as to what fans can look forward to. The Persona Series Poster-Style Trading Acrylic Stands contain the cover art for every mainline Persona game thus far, with the last two labeled as “secret.”

Codename: X could possibly be one of them, but we’d be lying if we weren’t hoping for the next mainline Persona game. Time shall tell! In the meantime, catch Persona4 The Golden ANIMATION and PERSONA5 the Animation (exclusively) right here on Funimation.
