Pokémon Unite Team Battle Game Launches Next Week on Nintendo Switch

Get ready to head into battle! The Pokémon Company and Tencent have announced that Pokémon Unite will officially launch on Nintendo Switch next week!

A new trailer was also revealed, confirming the July 21 launch date for Nintendo Switch, and showcasing a look at the gameplay fans can expect when they go up against each other.

Also announced was the news that anyone who logs into the game by August 31 at 10:59 a.m. EDT will score the legendary Zeraora as a playable character.

Pokémon Unite splits players into two teams of five as they face off against each other in real-time battle. So far, 20 playable characters have been announced, including Zeraora. You can check out the full list here.

The game will also support cross-platform play when it launches on Android and iOS devices this September. It’s free-to-start and includes optional in-app purchases.
