Publisher KOEI Tecmo and developer Gust have announced that the sequel to 2017’s Blue Reflection, Blue Reflection: Second Light, will officially launch on November 9 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in North America!
This game focuses on three students: Ao Hoshizaki, Kokoro Utsubo, and Yuki Kinjou, who find themselves transported to some sort of mysterious floating academy. They come across monsters in this new place and battle them to unlock new powers that make them question their cryptic surroundings even more.

At the mysterious academy, the three friends will try to live every day to the fullest while trapped in this new unknown world. As such, their bonds will grow deeper and they will get stronger with new abilities.
For North American customers, NIS America is offering a Limited Edition of Blue Reflection: Second Light exclusively through their webstore, which costs $129.99. It includes a copy of the game for either PS4 or Switch, a B2-size cloth poster, a Japanese-imported Academy Notebook-styled photo album, Japanese-imported artbook Everyone’s Memories and two Japanese-imported acrylic mini character charms.
It will also contain a special costume called Ao: Ryza Style, which is based off of Atelier Ryza’s protagonist. With the exception of the artbook, everything will be packaged in a collector’s box.
Additionally, illustrator Mel Kishida is returning to the franchise to lead the game’s character designs. His works can be found in both Blue Reflection: Second Light and the Blue Reflection Ray anime series, the latter of which is currently streaming exclusively on Funimation.
