The epic sci-fi action series from Polygon Pictures (Human Lost, Ajin: Demi-Human), Knights of Sidonia is officially joining the Funimation family!
On August 3, all 24 episodes (two seasons) of the anime series will arrive on Funimation for the very first time. The series will stream on Funimation in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Ireland, joining the already-launched Australia and New Zealand.
But that’s not all! We’re excited to announce that Funimation is bringing the final chapter in the series, Knights of Sidonia: Love Woven in the Stars, to theaters in the United States and Canada starting September 13. It will be available in Japanese with English subtitles, and in English-dubbed format. Tickets go on sale soon, so stay tuned for more info.
Film synopsis: Film synopsis: It’s been nearly 10 years since ace pilot Nagate Tanikaze repelled the Gauna forces and saved Sidonia, humanity’s last home. But now, the aliens that brought humans to the edge of extinction return.

Knights of Sidonia first aired in Japan in Spring 2014, with a second season following in Spring 2015. Knights of Sidonia: Love Woven in the Stars hit theaters in Japan in June 2021.
