Ready for more news on the latest from Death Note creators Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba? The Platinum End official website has confirmed an October 7 premiere date in Japan for the series, as well as two additional cast members!

The new Platinum End cast members include Kaori Maeda (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) as the deceptively cute and bubbly serial killer Mimi Yamada, and Shōya Chiba (Horimiya) as Mizukiyo Minamikawa.

Previously announced cast members include Miyu Irino (Mob Psycho 100) as protagonist Mirai Kakehashi and Yui Ogura (GOBLIN SLAYER) as Nasse, his angel assistant.

The anime series is set to adapt the entire manga in 24 episodes, and will stream from October 2021 to March 2022. The manga, which ended earlier this year, is published in English by VIZ Media.
