If you’ve been missing a certain cheeky fanged grin, then we have news for you! The official Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! Twitter account gave us our first update since the anime’s second season was announced, unveiling a 2022 release date and a special visual featuring Uzaki’s trademark smirk.

And today, August 7, is also Uzaki’s birthday! An illustration by the original manga’s author, Take, was released to commemorate the occasion as well as the release of Volume 7.

The anime’s first season, produced by studio ENGI (The Detective Is Already Dead), aired in summer 2020 and starred Naomi Oozora (Inari Kon Kon) and Kenji Akabane (Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia) as the playful pair.
