Touken Ranbu fans, we’ve got some exciting news for you! A brand-new Touken Ranbu game has been officially announced, officially bringing together the world of the sword training series with the action of the musou genre.

KOEI TECMO and DMM GAMES announced Touken Ranbu Musou via its official website and on social media, confirming that it will release on Nintendo Switch and PC.

Touken Ranbu Musou will be the first home console game for the popular series, and will be the first time players can experience its world in full 3D. The game’s production will be handled by longtime Warriors developer ω-Force and Ruby Party.

KOEI TECMO, in addition to the iconic Dynasty Warriors franchise, has collaborated with a number of brands for musou crossovers, including Nintendo on Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors, and with BANDAI NAMCO on One Piece: Pirate Warriors and Dynasty Warriors: Gundam.
