Live-Action Cowboy Bebop Series Drops First Preview Images, Sets November Release

Cowboy Bebop

Netflix has officially given us a first look at its upcoming live-action adaptation of space western classic Cowboy Bebop, dropping some photos and a November 19 release date for the series.

The account also posted what will assumedly be the first of several character introductions to come, starting with the charismatic Spike Spiegel, played by John Cho.

Each episode will reportedly be an hour long and a second season is already planned, so we’ll get to see plenty more of Cowboy Bebop‘s world being expanded on by showrunners André Nemec and Jeff Pinkner.

This news comes after it was announced that Yoko Kanno, the original anime’s iconic composer, will return with original music for the live-action adaptation. Shinichiro Watanabe, Cowboy Bebop‘s creator, is also serving as a consultant on the series.
