It’s time for some new transfer students to introduce themselves to the class of Komi Can’t Communicate‘s anime adaptation!

Ami Maeshima (D4DJ First Mix) and Sarah Emi Bridcutt (The Rising of the Shield Hero) have been added to the roll as the competitive Makeru Yadano and the cheerful Akako Onigashima, respectively. 

The anime’s first full trailer and a key visual were released just last week, along with an October 6 premiere date and other additional cast members.

For the main characters, Aoi Koga (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) will voice the titular Shoko Komi, joined by Gakuto Kajiwara (Fire Force) as Hitohito Tadano and Rie Murakawa (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) as Najimi Osana.

Ayumu Watanabe (After the Rain) is leading the adaptation as chief director alongside Kazuki Kawagoe (Bungo and Alchemist -Gears of Judgement- episode director) as director at studio OLM, with Deko Akao (After the Rain, Arakawa Under the Bridge) on series composition and Atsuko Nakajima (Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto, Ranma 1/2) on character design.

Tomohito Oda’s Komi Can’t Communicate manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Sunday in May 2016 and currently spans 20+ volumes.
