It’s been a little over a year since the rambunctious Yamato appeared in the One Piece manga, quickly becoming a fan favorite in the race to become the next member of the Straw Hat crew.
And now that the anime has caught up to Yamato’s grand entrance, it’s been announced that Saori Hayami (The Honor at Magic High School) will be joining the One Piece family as the voice of Yamato!

Hayami will be making her official debut in the One Piece anime TV series on September 5 in Japan with Episode 990, which you’ll be able to watch right here on Funimation!
