After the conclusion of To Your Eternity‘s 20th and final episode, it was announced that the fantasy adventure anime would be getting a second season in fall 2022. No other details were revealed.
Based on the manga by A Silent Voice‘s Yoshitoki Ōima, To Your Eternity‘s first season premiered in spring 2021 to wide audience acclaim and a lot of runny noses. The series follows “It,” an immortal being cast down to Earth, as they travel across the land and experience the many adventures and ordeals that humanity has to offer.
The anime adaptation was headed by Masahiko Murata (Baby Steps) at studio Brain’s Base (Durarara!!), with character designs by Koji Yabuno (Space Brothers) and music by Ryo Kawasaki (Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia).
