After two years away, rom-com anime Teasing Master Takagi-san is returning with a third season in Winter 2022 and a film later next year!
And the teasing continues right now with this teaser trailer and visual that were revealed today:
Hiroaki Akagi (Combatants Will Be Dispatched!) is returning to direct at studio Shin-Ei Animation, with Aya Takano (Himouto! Umaru-Chan) as character designer and Aki Itami (Fruits Basket (2001)), Hiroko Fukuda (Taisho Otome Fairy Tale) and Kanichi Katou (Black Clover) as scriptwriters.
It was also announced that Yuiko Ōhara (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation), who performed the opening theme for the first two seasons, would be performing the opening once more.
Based on the manga by Soichiro Yamamoto, the first season of Teasing Master Takagi-san premiered in Winter 2018, followed by season two in Summer 2019.
It’s going to be a great year for Yamamoto and fans of his work, since the anime adaptation of When Will Ayumu Make His Move?, his most recent romance manga, is also coming out in 2022!
