To fans of the super-powered series My Hero Academia, this may come as no surprise, but according to Instagram hashtag research by UK retailer Zavvi, the series is currently the #1 most popular choice for cosplayers in the world!
My Hero Academia is sitting at 2,377,476 posts, with DC Comics and Marvel close behind at 2,359,276 and 2,321,102, respectively.
Zavvi says “This demonstrates the recent growth of anime, a growth expected to continue. Deku, Todoroki, and Bakugou have all made it into the top ten, joining alongside classic heroes like Batman, Spider-Man, and Wonder Woman.”
