We also got a closer look at Wyrdeer, Basculegion and Hisuian Braviary, three new monsters introduced during the previous info drop. The new trailer also shows that players can ride these Pokémon across the sky, water and land by summoning them with the Celestica Flute.
And in the previously shown Jubilife Village, there are many facilities that players can take advantage of. The Clothier and Hairdresser allows players to customize their appearance. Players can also take pictures alongside their Pokémon at the Photography Studio, while the General Store and Craftworks stock items for expeditions, recipes and materials. Finally, the Pastures acts as some sort of daycare where players can leave Pokémon that they’ve caught.
Two new versions of Pokémon, Alpha and Noble Pokémon, were also revealed. Alpha Pokémon are larger than normal and have menacing red eyes. They are also more aggressive, attacking players that get too close to them.
Noble Pokémon, on the other hand, have suddenly become more feral due to an unsolved phenomenon. When a frenzied Noble Pokémon becomes too difficult to handle, the Galaxy Expedition Team is called in. As part of the Survey Corps, the player will assist in subduing them.

A brand new species of Pokémon, Kleavor, was also shown off! Kleavor, a Bug-and-Rock-type, is an evolved form of Scyther. It had used special minerals found in Hisui to harden its body into stone. The player’s first encounter with it seems to be in a frenzied state in the forest, indicating that it is a Noble Pokémon.
For Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the new trailer showcases a handful of returning features from the original games.
There’s the Pokétch, which has various apps like the Dowsing Machine that allows players to find hidden items, and it now includes an HM app, so players can Cut trees or Rock Climb over cliffs. Also returning are Super Contests, where players can create Poffins, and Amity Square, where you can hang out with your partner Pokémon.
The wait is almost over! Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl launch on November 19, with Pokémon Legends: Arceus arriving on January 28, 2022 for Nintendo Switch.
